As we need to start applying for visas soon, we needed to decide now which Route to take. So we got a bunch of maps to sketch a rough plan. We’ll probably miss out on the start in London, and run into the other Teams on July 22nd in Prague instead. This whole trip will be expensive enough without speeding up to London and back and booking ferries and everything.

From there, we will proceed to take the lower middle route going through Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Moldavia to hit the Black Sea at Odessa in Ukraine. From there we’ll enter Russia going through Stalingrad - err - I mean Volgograd, and enter Kazakhstan after Astrakhan. From there on down over a dirt road into Uzbekistan, through Kyrgyzstan, back North through Kazakhstan into Russia, and finally into Mongolia, where we are awaited by the final 2000 km stretch of dirt roads leading us to Ulan Bator!
